Acknowledge that God has not been first in your life, and ask Him to forgive your sins. 1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Believe that Jesus died to pay for your sins and that He rose again, and is alive today. Romans 10:9: That if though shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, though shalt be saved.
Accept God’s free gift of salvation. Don’t try to earn it. Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Allow Jesus Christ to come into your life and be the Lord (“Director”) of your life. John 1:12-13: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not or blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
